For those tight delivery windows on JIT, we cut misses by auto-bumping dock appointments whenever ETA drifted more than 12 minutes off baseline using live pings from project44 (https://www.project44.com). We keep a 15-minute soft buffer and auto-push the new slot to the carrier and consignee so nobody is guessing. It only works if carriers keep location sharing on — when a driver kills the app, , it falls apart, so we require an ELD feed on our top lanes.
